Rother & Kok Productions was found by Steffan Kok and Gosia Rother in December 2005. The company's mission is to provide tennisfans with easy and refreshing way of learning tennis; to get more out of their tennis game using their current abilities and to have more fun on the court.

Steffan Kok, the author of "Winning Doubles Tactics" DVD, was a player on the national level, has played in the highest competition division and still practices tennis passionately. His tennis education and years of providing tennis training, not only to talented juniors, but also to amateurs and tournament players, has exposed him to all levels and styles, and has provided him with a broad exprerience. What Steffan brings together is theoretical knowledge, observation and the practice. Tennis is simply his passion.

During his lessons, students used to ask him about the tactics and strategy. Many has asked about the real life situations from the court, some wanted simply to know what are the consequences of certain choices. To help them visualize, Steffan used to draw on the clay, using his racquet (or on the white board, using his pen!) to explain a particular situation on the court and positions of all players. Knowing "what" to do, was not enough, they wanted to understand "why". Being able to visualize and see a big picture helps you to become a better player.

Once it has been studied and all "why's" and "if's" discussed, Steffan would help the students to put it in practice. The enthusiasm and the positive feedback from this way of teaching, has sealed Steffan's final decision this year - the idea of making a tennis DVD has been born.

Our DVD has been reviewed by Dutch Tennis Association. We are proud, that it has been received very positively and has received a recommendation. It is recommended to all tennis players that woud like to improve their tennis game, and to tennis teachers that are looking for a support material to their lessons.

But, as you can imagine, such professional tennis DVD you cannot make alone. This is why Rother & Kok Productions has worked together with a professional film production company and the director, Peter Brinkman, to ensure that the film material is of the highest quality. Of course we also needed actors, and we have chosen for the best!
